It has been too long since I last wrote to you and so much has been happening recently!
We have thrown open the doors to The Church, hosting numerous events including the Akira x Iordanes Spyridon Gogos launch.
Our boutique is buzzing with new brands that I think you will love. Right now, we have new AW24 arriving and I’m excited to see what you think.
I am now off to Paris on a buying trip to see the latest SS25 collections and Parlour X will post sneaky peeks on our digital channels.
Yet these exciting times are not without challenges. So thank you for your continued support. Your love for fashion inspires us, and I look forward to sharing all the wonderful things that lie ahead.

RECENT EVENTS
The launch of the Akira x Iordanes Spyridon Gogos collection brought together fashion enthusiasts. We hosted a Soho House Sydney event in collaboration with Commas. And the final event was the High Heel Jungle event.
NEW BRANDS TO PARLOUR X
We’ve welcomed new brands for both womens & mens, including Plan C. A.W.A.K.E and Toteme. We have big announcements to make in the coming months which we cannot wait to reveal.
RECENT DELIVERIES
Our new collections from AW24 are here. We restocked favourites & welcomed the arrival of new pieces from Vivenne Westwood, The Row, Maison Alaia and more. The Alaia ballet flats & heart bags are back in stock.
NEW "IT" BAGS
I have always focussed on carrying bags that are investment pieces, & our new arrivals from Maison Alaia & The Row are pieces to cherish for a lifetime. My personal favourite is the Le Teckel from Alaia. It is the IT bag all over Europe.
SEASONAL TRENDS
I am thrilled for this season’s trends. It is all about the use of bold expression and creative texture and materials. Designers are experimenting with large, sculptural form & unconventional materials and pushing the boundaries of ready to wear clothing.
I just returned from my mid-year Paris buying trip, followed by a much-needed European vacation. Europe is buzzing right now, with a summer that’s intense in social, cultural and political terms.
In showrooms, conversations were nostalgic, for a time when fashion lovers sought creativity and uniqueness. It was exciting to see the SS25 collections, filled with original style and self-expression, and I cannot wait to share with you, my curation for next season.
This social-media-driven logomania has been exhausted and it’s enough. It has sacrificed creativity for commerce and led to homogenous and uniform trends. Take one look at the Paris Olympic Games and see the complete penetration of luxury fashion into sport, where monograms are more prominent than the Olympic rings. It is indicative of the mass market focus of the major fashion houses.
While the broader market might continue to embrace these conformist staples, I am hopeful that true creatives and Parlour X shoppers will focus more on individuality. For me, these are especially thrilling times, filled with the promise of the return of genuine creativity & personal expression.
