The brand was founded in 1966 in Vicenza, Italy, Bottega Veneta by Michele Taddei and Renzo Zengiaro. The focus was always exceptional craftsmanship in artisanal leather goods. Born from the name 'Venetian Shop', the brand maintains a strong bond to its Italian heritage through the iconic and highly recognisable leather hand weave design ‘intrecciato', globally distinguishing the fashion house’s identity.
