Y/Project is an exciting new collection at Parlour X. The brand has been making headlines with its imaginative blend of references that include gothic grandeur and simple streetwear. An exciting new player in Paris' fashion vanguard, the clothing and accessories brand is known for its statement T-shirts and deconstructed sweaters, jackets and trousers.
Y/Project clothing is characterised by its playful proportions, and its interesting design twists on historical references with a strong emphasis on unique individuality. The dresses, bags and shoes particularly have an interesting take. Since taking the creative helm in 2013, Belgian designer Glenn Martens has shaped Parisian-based Y/Project’s cult contemporary-cool. This envy-inducing collection of clothing and shoes is defined by a deconstructed design DNA, including cut-out jeans, long sleeved tops and sweatshirts, oversized jackets and contemporary denim. One striking example is the Multi-Cuff jeans in a medium weight cotton denim fabric. The eclectic design features layered panels which can be folded up or down, with pockets at the front.
