What is your favourite ‘precinct’ or area of London?

I love south London.  There are a lot of great cafes and parks and galleries.  There are a lot of artists and artist spaces in South London giving the area a great sense of community.

Do you have any insider tips for London that most people wouldn’t normally know about?

Go to the food markets on the weekend for the best street food.  I love Maltby Street Markets in the railway arches in Bermondsey for great croissants and coffee followed by getting lost in Lasco's antique shop. You can then pick up lunch from any of the local food traders.  Grab a Boris bike and ride from South to North London through Hyde park.  It is magical at anytime of year and you feel like you have the city to yourself if you go early.
