I would say the Museum of Warsaw Uprising is an important one. It explains to you a lot about the city, and an important part of its history. Museum of Modern Art, Zacheta and Foksal Gallery for the good overview of the amazing modern Polish art.Where are the best shopping experiences?

A trip to nearby Wilanow is always lovely. There is a beautiful, lavish palace from XVII century to visit, and also a Museum of Polish poster. Krakow is a bit further, but a really beautiful and special place, that you can't miss.
